William VanDorin was born in Centerville Iowa, (a small Quaker town) in 1958
and moved to Hollywood California at the age of eight. In 1975 Will joined the Air Force and studied mechanical theory and avionics professionally, with art and literature as an independant course of studies. Upon completion of his term of service he returned to Hollywood and worked as an illustrator producing album covers and promotional material for rock bands. Eventually, dis- alusioned with the lack of integrity and discipline in the music industry, Will moved to Port Orford Oregon in 1991. The next twelve years were spent in this small sea side town populated by talented artists, artisans and beasts of the forest, honing his
skills in many mediums. In 2003 Will moved to Seattle, the emerald city in the forest with his wife and four daughters {pity him!} It is here Tracey and Will operate Loud Silence Studio producing graphics, poetry, sculpture and limited edition collectables.
